Apr, 29 2012 Source: classichitsandoldies.com Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr perform three songs together on the Change Begins Within concert special airing tonight on PBS. The benefit for the David Lynch Foundation was taped in 2009 in New York City and was their first performance together in seventeen years.
During the special the two surviving Beatles perform separate sets and share the stage for “Cosmically Conscious,” “I Saw Her Standing There,” and “With a Little Help from My Friends.”

The Beatles legend has lined up two live dates in Guadalajara and Mexico City in May, as part of his current South American tour, and now he has added a third concert on May 10.

Apr, 3 2012 Source: heraldsun.com James McCartney, the singer-songwriter son of Paul McCartney, has revealed to the BBC that he and the sons of former Beatles members would be open to forming a new band, The Beatles: The Next Generation.

Mar, 30 2012 Source: bbc.co.uk Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA), plans to buy the former Liverpool College of Art for £3.7m to expand its teaching space.
The Grade II listed building is adjacent to LIPA's Mount Street site.
LIPA opened in 1995 in Liverpool city centre in what had been Liverpool Institute for Boys, the school attended by Sir Paul and George Harrison.

Mar, 30 2012 Source: The 69-year-old musican was joined on stage at times by Jam's Paul Weller, The Who's Roger Daltrey and Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones.
Sir Paul rearranged his European tour dates specifically so he could play the concert for the cancer charity founded by The Who frontman Daltrey in 2000.
Pulp, Jessie J and Florence and the Machine are all due to play for the charity at the Royal Albert Hall over the coming days.
