He should come to Norway again. I`ve seen him four times in Oslo. But being a little country up north I`ve had a feeling that the concerts lacked that little extra something. The first one I saw, and the best one yet, was the opening show of the `89/90 world tour in Drammenshallen. The concert had a lot of nerve being the first one, but came off as a bit of a warm up, or a rehearsal, to more `important` concerts. You have to start somewhere, and what`s better than in the middle of nowhere. Well, sort of then. hehe. Then I saw the two concerts at the Oslo Spectrum in 1993. Good concerts, but with a certain vibe of just another day at work. Routine, kind of. Then in 2004 at the Valle Hovin Stadium. Again a good concert, but it was the show before Glastonbury and seeing part of that show on "The McCartney Years" DVD I realised that concert in Norway was kind of a nap before the big one. A warm up. There`s a lot more fire to the Glastonbury concert. But hey, It`s only a northern song. : )
