The Metropolitan Museum of Art will display the snare drum as part of a special exhibition honoring his big birthday on July 7.
The instrument, which was presented to Starr by the Ludwig Drum Company in Chicago, Illinois, will be on view to museum visitors from the rocker's birthday to the end of the year.
On another news, Ringo Starr will also start the second season of the PBS series "Live From the Artists Den" with a performance taped at the Met. It will be shown on the week of his birthday.
