Bob Gannon reports to us again, but this time from Glasgow.

Hey Folks,

Been a long day with travel but it was well worth Paul's first show in Glasgow in 20+ years. Paul and band were high octane. I haven't seen Paul so animated in quite awhile as he was extremely interactive with the crowd. Paul was a complete ham tonight. Noticeable wardrobe change as he came out with the black beatle coat and upon taking off his jacket, uncovered a blue long sleeved shirt with white suspenders. Slight changes to the set list.

Crowd was great singing along with the on slaught of hits. And the Scottish faithful were not left disappointed as the 2nd encore brought Mull of Kintyre complete with bagpipe band. Paul told the crowd that although they had not been there in over 20 years that he still loves them. After Give Peace a Chance, the crowd continued to sing for a bit. After Hey Jude, band bow into a shuffle. A very quick re-appearance by Paul and band after leaving the stage. It couldn't have been more than 3 minutes or so. After the first encore they again did a group bow into a shuffle. Paul came out for the second encore with Wix rubbing his shoulders bounding in like a boxer into the ring. The last bow wound up into a shuffle with all except Paul who did a quick gorilla walk. Paul signed a Pipes of Peace album and was excited to get a small white teddy bear with tartan colors. Although nothing of real note, to report....I must say that the more I see the band it seems that they rock harder each and every time out.
