Paul McCartney And Friends: Change Begins Within Benefit Concert

Paul McCartney is on a tear, more than nearly 50 years after he began playing music: The reaction to his 2007 album Memory Almost Full was largely (and sometimes giddily) positive, and he followed that with Electric Arguments, the third album by the so-called Firemen, McCartney's experimental collaboration between himself and producer Youth.

And now: He's headlining Coachella. There's no telling how he'll go over with the young fans camping out in the California desert, but McCartney has a certain charisma, to be sure. Here, he'll headline a "Change Begins Within Benefit Concert," which serves to benefits the David Lynch Foundation. Others on the bill, on-hand to espouse the wisdom of meditation, include Ringo Starr, Eddie Vedder, Donovan, Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper, Moby, Bettye Lavette, Paul Horn, and Jim James.

Great cause! My kids started practicing Transcendental Meditation years ago, and it`s helped them grow into mentally clear, emotionally grounded people. It works.
