  • Source: nme.com

The animation also features Macca singing 'Heart of the Country'

Paul McCartney has taken to Twitter to post an animated clip featuring his late wife, photographer Linda McCartney.

The colourful video, which is soundtracked by Paul McCartney singing 'Heart of the Country', shows an animated Linda McCartney – complete with her camera – walking alongside a host of animals and cooking for them. Click above to watch it.

This has led to speculation that the clip is part of a new advertising campaign for Linda McCartney's range of vegetarian foods.

'Heart of the Country' was written by Paul and Linda McCartney and originally featured on the 1971 album, 'Ram'.

He posted the video alongside the following tweet: "Great to see Linda animation up on YouTube - looks great - love it" youtube.com/watch?v=R6yJ41…

Paul McCartney and the remaining members of Nirvana recently revealed the studio recording of 'Cut Me Some Slack', a song they recorded together.

'Cut Me Some Slack' was written for Dave Grohl's forthcoming documentary Sound City. The track was first performed at a Hurricane Sandy fundraiser in New York in December 2012.

The Sound City soundtrack is titled 'Sound City – Real to Reel' and will also also feature collaborations between Grohl and Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac - on 'You Can't Fix This' - and between Grohl, Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Joshua Homme and Nine Inch Nails man Trent Reznor, who team up on a song called 'Mantra'.

The film marks Grohl's directorial debut and tells the story of the legendary California recording studio where classics such as Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumours' and Nirvana's 'Nevermind' were recorded. It will be shown at US film festival Sundance, which runs from January 17-27.

It will be a challenge to do a little something for somebody that`s a total illustration of the symbol. Kate Middleton is gorgeous, fantastic and all, but she`s not an emblem. She`s a completely standard, normal and really beautiful human.".
