Ballpark ready for McCartney On the Run

Paul McCartney brings his On the Run summer tour to Great American Ball Park tonight for the ex-Beatle's first Cincinnati appearance in 18 years. On this tour, McCartney has performed sold-out shows at New York's Yankee Stadium, Detroit's Comerica Park, Montreal's Bell Center and Chicago's Wrigley Field.

Great American gates will open at 6 p.m. The concert is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. Those attending should expect to be searched with wands because of heightened security.

Unlike Reds games, concert-goers are not permitted to bring food, beverages, bottles, cans, coolers, umbrellas, video or audio recording equipment, or "professional cameras" (cameras with detatchable lenses.)

Purses, backpacks and bags must be no larger than 16 inches high by 16 inches wide by 8 inches across at the top or bottom, which is the same as Reds games. All will be inspected.
