The "Long and Winding Road" took Paul McCartney fans to Yankee Stadium for Friday night's concert.
Fans turned out to hear "Hey Jude" and other Beatles and Wings favorites, along with solo songs, at the first of two shows this weekend.
"It should be great. How can it not? It's gonna be spectacular," said one fan outside of Yankee Stadium.
"Very excited, so we've been hyper all day," said another.
"Last time we saw him it was in Boston in the Red Sox stadium, so now we get to see him in Yankee Stadium," added one more.
The concert comes nearly 46 years after McCartney and the Beatles played one of the most famous concerts in history at Shea Stadium.
McCartney returned to play three sold-out shows at Citi Field in July 2009.
