BEATLEnews - Among the artifacts on view for the first time in the main exhibition hall are a black wool coat that John Lennon wore in the film “Help!” and Paul McCartney’s handwritten arrangement for “Birthday.”
Also not to be missed: a leather jacket that Lennon wore when the Liverpool lads were honing their chops in Hamburg, Germany, in the early 1960s, the Mellotron that McCartney played on “Strawberry Fields Forever” and a pair of tickets to the Fab Four’s concert Aug. 14, 1965, at the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium -- $5.50 a pop for upper-box seats!
