Paul Nominated For Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance at 2011 Grammy Awards

Paul was named last night in LA as a nominee for the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards. Paul`s performance of `'Helter Skelter` from last year's `Good Evening New York City` has been shortlisted in the Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance category. The Beatles also pick up a nomination for Best Historical Album for The Beatles stereo box set.

Congratulations Paul!

The Grammy Awards take place on 13th February 2011 at 8pm ET./PT and you can watch the live on CBS.

Write a comment. . . .Considering the amount of tweeking they did on Paul`s vocals, they may have to give Milli Vanilli their Grammy back.

I sware it`s just their way of just trying to get Macca to show up! Ofcoarse I would love if Paul would win that award for that song, because it`s a bloody hard song to sing. I`m just so sckeptical about award shows.

Ooohh, they could have nominated The Fireman track "Highway" instead of "Helter Skelter". It`s incredible (both studio and live) and would have been a classic if it had been recorded by The Beatles. It would have been good for his new music also, the reputation, I don`t think "Electric arguments" sold tooo much. Nice anyway, that a 68 year old is nominated for a rock vocal performance. Who would have thought that was possible in the 60`s. : )
