Good Evening New York City Pack 01 DLC released

Today's the day the Paul McCartney's Good Evening New York City Pack 01 DLC is available for the PS3. Still waiting for the DLC to be available in the PlayStation Store to purchase but rockband.com does have short samples of the three songs included in the DLC, Band on the Run, Jet and Sing The Changes.

I'll be reviewing the DLC once I get it so any criticism is unfair at this point, but I'm a bit disappointed in the graphics. Being spoiled by The Beatles Rockband absolutely fantastic graphics, I hoped any McCartney release would have appropriate video and avatars showing Macca and the band. The lead singer is the long haired guy with sunglasses and the huge mustache, and Abe is this good lookin chick. I know you can go in and change what you want to look like but was hoping it would be more an effort than standard default avatars. UPDATE: Ok got the DLC this afternoon and will report back later once we've tried them out tonight.

In kinda related news Rockband has announced Rockband Network which will allow artist and labels to create and upload tracks for distribution. They've made available the same tools that the pros at rockband use to create tracks. I'm playing with the tools now, I'll update with details at a later time.
