David Lynch Foundation hopes to raise $600 for one million students; $600 million dollars for the organization teaching Maharishi’s TM. They should be asked for financials demonstrating how they have spent funds from past fund raising. Maharishi rose in excess of $100 million dollars by charging over 100 of his wealthiest followers one million dollars each for a one month “Enlightenment Course”. Guidestar.org lists 2006 tax filing (latest available) for Maharishi Global Development Fund; page 20 shows $38 million dollars transferred to a Channell Islands trust. Offshore trusts prevent scrutiny and can avoid regulations associated with nonprofit status. Where do those funds lie and who administers them? Maharishi recently died and sources within TM organizations refer to tension over control of his fortune, said to lie with his relatives, and its availability to organizations promoting TM. McCartney should take steps to ensure that his generosity is as well placed as it is intended.

The link has been corrected, sorry. Heard from a source who was asked by organizers if he would be interested in the meet & greet, photo opportunity packages. Yes, they said there will be several backstage packages offered that includes meet & greet, photo ops.
