The base value to request any song
Total cost: 1 point

Extra points will be required as follows:

Artist already has a song in the queue
If there's already a song by the same artist in the queue then add .5 points.
The request will play according to tier guidelines.
Total cost: 1.5 points

Same song already in the queue
If the song is already in the queue, then add 1 point.
The song currently in the queue will play as normal but the request will not add the song to the queue.
This is useful for bumping up a songs request count without having to wait for the period of time to expire that a song is unavailable for requesting.
Total cost: 2 points

Song recently played
If the song recently played, then add 2 points.
The request will not add the song to the queue.
This is useful for bumping up a songs request count without having to wait for the period of time to expire that a song is unavailable for requesting.
Total cost: 3 points

Song does not conform to theme of show
If the song requested does not conform to the theme of the current program, it will cost 20 points.
The request will add the song to the queue.
Total cost: 20 points

Requesting on Tuesdays:
If requesting a song on Tuesday, request costs will be an additional 5 points if request conforms with the 'Beatles/Solo' theme. Otherwise requesting 'Friends' on Tuesday will cost you 20 points.

Ratings cost:
Each song rating will cost .1 points.

Comments cost:
Viewing Comments will be free to users with a point balance greater than or equal to 10.
Otherwise, comments will be unavailable.

(almost) Guaranteed Listener Slots:
Folks on the (a)gls will get 50 bonus points per month.
The first months bonus will be credited as a PayPal donation to ensure securing at least tier 1.
Subsequent months will be non-tier affecting bonus points.
The cost per month for a gls slot is $4
