'Standing Stone', Paul's first symphonic work, is given it's world premiere performance by The London Symphony Orchestra, The symphonic peim is also performed later at New York's Carnegie Hall, from where it is broadcast live to a record 300 radio stations. The CD of the work tops the USA classical charts for 11 weeks.
