Shouldn't the lady who wrote the song sing it? I mean it does sound a little, dare I say it? Like a guy is in love with Paul McCartney. I love the opening guitar riff.

In fact, I don't normally listen to songs posted here because I think this is strictly a Macca site but I thought what the hell! Give a listen. I actually liked the song. Sat swaying in my chair watching the video.

But a female should really sing it as it gives one the impression the guy is gay, which is okay since lots of my male friends are gay but . . . I'm just saying.

No nothing wrong but this world is still filled with Homo phobic people and no matter how good the song is, it might not get the listening to it deserves because of that factor. I'm just saying. I personally like the song as I have stated.

I written the lyrics,
I had fun writing it from a girl's point of view, but it was me
because it all starts with "when I'm down feeling blue lost my GIRL" etc..
I exaggerated my love for his art writing in an homosexual way....

quite, right...i definately did not write the song...all credit should be given solely to friend beatleasis and his group...

because, while it is a bit over-the-top, it's actually quite a neat song. love that bit about him still composing after he died in '66...and making the beatles when mozart didn't: does that make him one of pythons decomposing composers, or...

loved most of the video, too. there were some tossed off bits that were hilarious, neat sense of humor.
