Was their gig at the Royal Albert Hall a one-off engagement
or do they plan on touring ?

I don´t think they are planning to tour. They only played London and New York as far as I know.

I've seen bits and pieces of the DVD on PBS lately, and I'm downloading songs from it this morning. Eric can still play, and this is the perfect spot to hear him (and the rest of the band, of course) without being drowned out by his usual cast of 1000's when he tours.

Can't wait to get the DVD, either.

There is a marked difference between the original Crossroads version and the reunion version. The original was great of course, really "in your face", but this newer one, which I really dig as well, is slightly slower paced but a slightly more pronounced funk in Clapton's riff.

The Outside Woman Blues performance, woah, it just knocks me out!

Jack Bruce confirmed that Cream are planning more shows in select cities in the future - not a "tour" per say, but a series of one-night stands in certain cities. My guess would be Chicago, LA, perhaps Sidney, and maybe London again. That would be cool. I think they have something different to say now that they are more exprienced. It's more of a mature sound.

Completely agree. After the shows in New York, I noticed some idiots on various Cream/Clapton message boards were complaining that "Crossroads" was played too slowly. I don't mind the slower version, because it's more pronounced. As great as the Winterland version was, it lacks a certain maturity that the song deserves.
