Another of those rarities I'll slip on a mix CD for friends and their ears prick up- mainly because everyone has heard most Beatle era numbers at some point.

Why didn't he slap this demo on McCartney instead of Singalong Junk?

Would love to hear this in concert on the next tour.

I thought for sure he'd use this for a solo thing since it was skipped by Anthology.

He should have recorded it and released it as a solo single instead of giving it away!!!

John was already releasing solo stuff!!

Oh, I absolutely LOVE this song, and, yea, I think that they (Beatles) should have (or he should have) recorded it/released it, too, vs giving it away. It's a beautiful work, and I often find myself listening to it (Paul's demo version, that is...) Beautiful song.

Yeah, it's a great song. If you listen to the demo, it sounds like the same vocal style that Paul uses on Jenny Wren.

Well it was written specifically for a female singer(Hopkin) since they include "he" and whatnot. Though, I'm sure it would have been easy to fix.
