This appears to be the "radio edit," which happens fairly often as most radio stations prefer shorter lengths. If you try to listen to it from the point of view of someone who's never heard the song, it really isn't bad -- though of course the full version is superior (as was the full-length version of the Doors' "Light My Fire," for anyone who remembers the '60s!).
