Tickets prices

Last year I paid 700 Dkr. which is about 120 $ for a ticket to see Macca in Horsens. How much are the tickets in the US?

Bob Dylan plays in Aalborg, Denmark some time soon and people are complaining about the prices of the tickets, which are about the same as I paid for Macca.

$250 for the best seats, maybe $50 for the worst (although if you are in the same arena as Paul, how bad can it be?)

I've been thinking about the prices ... I work in a high school and students visit my office ... see my Beatles background on the computer, my Beatle calendar and many express their admiration for the Beatles. I always ask if they are going to see Paul and they admit they can't afford the tickets. Too bad ... I wish they could enjoy him while he's here

When I was in highschool and Paul was on tour, lots of us couldn't afford all the money to see Paul. But I pumped gas as a partime job for like $1.65 an hour and I got to see Paul in Toronto in 1976.

My advice you tell the students is "get off your ass, shut off your playstation and find a job!"

I don't have my ticket stub for 1976...can you remember what the price was? It was 14 bucks or something as I remember.

my tickets for detroit in 76 were 7 dollars.

The Stones weer up near $300. Aerosmith has tickets near $1,000. Streisand.. we won't even go there.
The stones were actually the first rock act to charge over $100. Once they did it other acts from the 60's and 70's started upping their prices.

If anyone can find the press conference interview from The New World Tour announcement, you'd see Paul talking about keeping ticket proces low so the average guy could afford to see him. What happened?

I'd pay anything to see Paul, but it would be nice if younger people could afford to see him too.

During his 2002 tour I started a "Pennies for Paul" jar at my work to help with ticket prices. I was suprised how many people were willing to help me go see him.
