I started this website on the day of the show in Miami - I have been planning to do something along these lines for quite some time, but the fact that I was going to the show spurred me to action. I was hoping Sir Paul would show some interest.

With some encouragement and "a little help from my friends" we created the website and got it up on the day of the show.

I handed of my flyers to Heather Mccartney. It felt like fate. I flew to Miami from Chicago just to try to get the flyer to Paul or Heather. Mission accomplished within my first hour.

Just for extra good luck I asked a cool looking guy in the 1st row to throw a flyer up on stage, the guy turned to me and told me he was blind - I told him to go for it and he did.

I learned today that I share a common goal with Paul McCartney. He is involved in a similar type of project - "Music Lives". http://www.musiclives.com He partnered with Fidelity and is focused on raising money to keep music in our schools.

I am hoping that perhaps our foundations could work together - join forces for the greater good.

Please feel free to post your feedback with ways we could improve our website . Contact us if you are interested in volunteering. Maybe we can put a great band together that sings Paul's songs. Im hopeful! http://www.katrinamusicfund.com

We are looking for Paul Mccartney and Beatles fans/musicians to join us to record songs and play live. 100% of proceeds go directly to the children effected by the hurricane. I will pay out of my pocket for all your traveling and housing expenses if needed.
