I now that someday, that day will come when Paul "retires". I can't really imagine what it would be like to not have a new album or a tour to look forward to from him. Hats off to him for giving us 40 truly awesome years.

You know what Steve? I've given that some thought, and I really don't think Paul is ever gonna retire. I think he'll keep making records even at 75. He may stop touring eventually, but I don't think he'll ever stop writing and recording. (That is, as long as he is physically capable.)

I agree...I didn't want to even think of it but by "retires", I also meant his eventually passing. I hope he outlives us all, man. I CAN see him working the rest of his life.

Man--I had a VERY realistic nightmare two nights before I saw him on 4/29. I'll have to tell you about it sometime. It was so sad.
