I don't see a need for future compilations of previously released BEATLES tracks. I see a need for the entire catalog to be spiffed up and remastered.
If there were to be new Beatles releases on CD, I'd suggest the following:
THE BEATLES AT THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL
Never my favorite album, but since it was an official release, I think it should be released on CD - perhaps with extra tracks so it would run at least 65 minutes.
THE BEATLES' CHRISTMAS ALBUM
This should be available without having to give money to bootleggers.
THE BEATLES ON ED SULLIVAN
All their live appearances on Ed Sullivan's show should be available in a 2 disc set.
THE BEATLES' BLOOPERS
Bad title, I know, but it would be fun to have an inexpensive CD of studio outtakes where The Beatles mess up and make humorous comments. Maybe this could be a limited edition bonus disc for the CHRISTMAS ALBUM
THE BEATLES - ANTHOLOGY 4 : LEFTOVERS
One last plunge into the EMI vaults. Give us the long HELTER SKELTER. We're ready for it! I want to hear the 1969 version of LOVE ME DO, no matter how bad it was! Let's have a stereo version of the 8 minute mix of IT'S ALL TOO MUCH. We want the CARNIVAL OF LIGHT track too!
These are all interesting![;)]
