I´m really glad that most of the songs dealt with love, peace, understanding. There´s hardly any one of them that says: Go on kids, tell them all to sod off. Leave your parents. It´s all very "all you need is love" or John´s "Give peace a chance" There was a good spirit about it all, which I´m very proud of. Anyway ...It were a grand thing , The Beatles.

Taking the sand inside an oyster changing it into a pearl, making another magic transformation, find the right boy for the right girl.
You must appreciate the day...

I love the things that happen when we start to discover who we are and what we are living for!

When did Paul say that? I love it!

Paul on Nigel (Chaos sessions):

Nigel said, "You know that song you played the other day? I really didn't like it. I think it was crap." I said, "Oh, yeah?" And I thought, "What will I do now? Fu*king ... punch him? Or just spit at him? Tell him to fu*k off? Or what?"

I needed comfort of love just to get me some piece of mind.. wo-oh

Not so much my favorite Paul quote, but certainly an interview I will never forget:

Chris Farley: [ uncomfortable ] You.. you.. you remember when you were with The Beatles?

Paul McCartney: Yeah, sure.

Chris Farley: That was awesome!
And in the end...
