Calicoshy2001, I agree with Beware My Love and Wanderlust. Where can I find that I Cant Write Another Song? I havent heard of it too.

Agreed. BML and Wanderlust are certainly in the top 10 of Paul's post Beatles stuff. Top 20 of all his stuff combined, for sure . . .

By the way. Does "1882" mean "1985"?

calicosky, yoohoo, I'd also like to know the answer to Liam's question, does "1882" mean 1985? Or are we missing another tune like I Cant Write Another Song?

So is 1882 a different song to 1985, or what????

i didnt get the download for 1882 to find out but did get Blackpool38,23,38,Blackpool
And i did get Lindiana, and on first hearing thought it was an excellant song, some lyrics: If i can be of help, in matters such as these, wont hesitate cause i'll only be too pleased....Hold on Lindiana, dont let go of your dreams, with your head held high you can touch the sky...............
It was amongst Pizza and Fairytales and other songs were based around Press to play era so i presume it was 85/86 recording.

What do those numers 23, 38 and 23 mean in Blackpool? Is it just some meaningless anything-for-something-sounding-good lyric by Paul or does it actually mean anything?

i believe they are a reference to the size of woman he likes in his song, the next verse is southport,23,42,24,thats how i like em. And for people who dont know blackpool and southport are seaside towns from the north west of england....
