by the way---forgot about this one. I met Sting in September of 1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio--had a backstage pass..met him and Branford Marsalis, and Kevin (the guy that replace Branford in the Tonight Show band)--as well as those tiny cute backup singers from that tour...It was a shame really---I felt guilty---I like Sting (Like the Police better, though)...but I didnt like him so much that I was knocked out by meeting him. He shook our hands and was cordial.(taller than I had imagined, actually---piercing eyes)...he told us (me, my younger bro--who worked for a local record dist. and GOT the BSP's, his friend and GF) where the drinks were--and he was off...Brandford stayed and talked to us for like 30 minutes..he was cool--all nice folks who treated the fans well (there were only about 14 of us)....All the while, I was thinking (and I remember this distinctly)..man--I wish two things---Paul would tour again, and I'm backstage, like this)...well....1 out of two aint all bad!

I've noticed that about Sting's eyes - they are very piercing, you're right. And that's just from photos that I've seen that!

By the way--back on topic--I knew Paul had a keeper when he Rusty whipped out that perfect solo on I'm Down at the CFNYC. My jaw dropped---the dude can play.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again....This is the BEST Macca lineup...EVER. Better than any Wings or solo lineup, IMHO. This band rocks, and rocks hard. And if you don't believe me, you probably haven't seen them live yet.

I'd like a Macca shake and Macca fries please....

I still have very fond memories of the Bryan Adams show I went to, five months ago. First rock concert I've ever been to! So I don't doubt it that if I see Paul live, I will be in seventh heaven!
