Once the Beatles entire British catalog was released on compact disc in 1987 and 1988, two new albums of material were created that included songs from singles and other sources that were not included on any of the original British releases. Essentially a more comprehensive repackaging of the 1979 "Rarities" disc, the albums were dubbed Past Masters. Volume 2 features tracks from 1965 through 1970, including "Across The Universe" - a version released only on the compilation album No One's Gonna Change Our World for the World Wildlife Fund.

My fave on this album will always be "Hey Jude", I think the lyrics is a kind of answer of anything in Pauls and The Beatles career...

Did you like it so?? I just think that YKMN was a curious session, with the Lads(was George there?) having fun, Brian Jones among them playing sax, a funny session...

YKMN is flat out fabulous, man! Such a fun piece... I can listen to it on repeat for quite a while :D I love Paul's low-pitched voice singing that "you know my name doo doo" etc part.
