lol....all I'm saying is lay your cards on the table, let's see your hand 8)

Though I notice only myself and Bluebird have been neurotic enough to actually come up with a Top 100 list. Yet the thread is somehow 3 pages long!

100 best? Gee. How do you decide if a particular song goes in at number 63 or 64?

Trouble is, my top 100 would depend on the day - and it would take me longer than a day to come up with a top 100, so..... It's a bit like trying to finish painting the Golden Gate Bridge. Only on a much smaller scale, of course.

Today's top 3:
1 Maybe I'm Amazed
2 Blackbird
3 My Brave Face (funnily enough)
down in the jungle, living in a tent....

Think abstract, think collectively, make some arbituary decisions. Sure we all like different songs from day to day, but the law of averages dictates we will end up liking one song generally more than another and this order solidifies itself over time. Maybe judging #63 over #64 is not quite so clear cut, but your Top 25 and the next 25, generally you'll make more of an apparent differentiation. And your Top 5, well they would be the songs with an ultra special place in your heart.
