I recalled that on the song "And Your Bird Can Sing" they did overdubs on the guitar riffs that sounds in a nice way. Only with overdubs could be possible to play that way, unless he(George) had four arms, said once a music critical.

Peace.

"Tomorrow Never Knows" shows some interesting backward effects among others that would be impossible to do just with the fingers on guitar. They did really clever recording tricks.

Peace.

dsnito, you mentioned Free as A Bird, I listened to it again last night and you're right, George really played great in that song.

Definitely, George was an excellent guitarist. I guess the general public forget about him because he didn't write as many songs as Paul and John, they tend to overlook him. If they took the time to think about it, yeah, George rocks!

I personally prefer guitarists as creative as george was compared to guitarists like Eddie Van Halen, guitarists whose only acheivement seems to be an ability to play a million notes per bar of music.

In fact, when it comes to musical creativety, I've heard vacuum cleaners that are more creative and melodic than these type of guitarists. Maybe they should all put their guitars away and record the soiund of vacuum cleaners on their albums instead!

In fact, the playing of heavy metal guitarists has something else in common with vacuum cleaners - they both suck!
