With the beatles: All My Loving (though I would vote Til There Was You, for vocal performance, but alas not a McCartney song)

Rubber soul: I'm Looking Through You
Revolver: Good Day Sunshine
Sgt. pepper: She's Leaving Home

Yellow submarine: Nothing, as Hey Bulldog is a John song, and the other 2 kickass songs (It's All Too Much and Only A Northern Song) are George's. And All Together Now is utter crap.

You forgot Help!, from which I would choose Yesterday.

Unfortunately though, if you wanted my favourite song from each album, regardless of who wrote what, it would be a different story, and I hate to be a traitor, but take a look at this:

-all mostly John or George songs, apart from a few Paul ones which I adore to death. Yet the funny thing is, with Wings and solo Paul songs, I think were much better than John / George solo (overall). I think John and George lost their way in the 70s, while Paul just kept getting stronger and stronger. Paul was definitely the most consistently great Beatle. But oddly enough, my favourite Beatle tracks are the classic John ones.

Well it is a great song. After the absolute classics from John, like No Reply, I'm A Loser and Eight Days A Week, Every Little Thing would be undoubtedly the underrated song on the album. I think of it like "It's Only Love" on the Help! album, or I'm Looking Through You / You Won't See Me on Rubber Soul, so many great songs overshadow it, that it doesn't get the respect due.

Yeah I recall reading those Rolling Stone "Lennon Remembers" interviews where John was quite critical of his Beatles work, but in the case of Help and songs of that era, he was quite proud of his work. He remembered feeling let down that Help was reduced to a 2 minute upbeat pop song, where in reality he was truly crying out for help, it didn't reflect the true feelings behind the song.
