Paul plays the most of his solos self in that time - I think. I better like Pauls acoustic solos than his electric.

The first year after he met John, he played some solos, but he found out that it not was him to play that, because he also want sing, so then George came in to play lead. That´s something I have read in a book called " McCartney - In his own words" from 1975 I think. Telling about his whole life before he met John until Venus and Mars..
