He wrote 8 of the songs and ´he got the title track, I think he was the man behind the flower power period in the 60´s and this is (In my eyes) his best album. What´s yours opinions

Once again.....they actually did work with each other on several of these tunes. Getting Better, Shes Leaving Home etc etc etc. Why the obsession with who wrote what and how much? Yes...he dominated from Revolver forward, really, with the lead vocal chores on most of the singles and the majority of the better tracks on each album. But to just say "he wrote"......that's not accurate at all. There was an awesome magic with that partnership and you are falsely diminishing the power of it. Yes, by this point they were writing a bigger percentage of their own songs, but.....it wasn't 100%.

The best PAUL work AS A BEATLE I think is Yesterday, a single that was included on Help! album later... There are good Paul works on the White Album though on that, each one of them made most of the songs separatedly...

Yes You really right, He is just amazing on "Revolver" From Taxman to tommorow ner knows. Fabolous ballads and one rocker "Got to get you..." Superb album from him.

You're absolutely right about the flower power thing BPF, but the thing that encapsulates that for me is the Magical Mystery Tour project. His 'baby'...and the soundtrack with Hello Goodbye, Your Mother Should Know, Penny Lane, Fool on the Hill, all classic Paul!

Exactly! I love this period of his career, but Magical mystery tour was also a kind of flower power album, right?? I remember stones and another groups who took the same idea as sgt. pepper. Stones released Her majesty satanic request a year after, so. But I say it again, from revolver until Let it be, the leader was deffently Paul exept the white album which was a close match I think.

Yeah Paul and John sang vocals on the Stones' We Love You, and Mick 'n' Keith sang on All You Need Is Love......what a great era!
