Forum Rules

As with most websites of this nature, there has to be some rules to follow thus to keep this site a safe place for fans to hang out. Most websites of this nature prohibit advertising or URLs that would links members away. Content should be cut and pasted, not just a URL (link).

Over the thirteen year plus operating these sites, we had some experience of people using this site to steal email addresses of members and then privately or publicly spam them to get them to join their site. This will not be tolerated. Members, posters are very much appreciated and that is why we try to accommodate them and protect their privacy as much as possible.

This website in a nutshell, it's a FUNsite, absolutely no bashing of Paul or any family member will be tolerated. No addresses of any family members will be allowed to be published on this site. If you come here to get your 10 minutes in fame by being a trouble maker, you will not be welcome and you will be asked, then told to leave. If you still don't get the hint, you will be banned.

Under absolutely no cases are you allowed to link via html code to images that may appear in posts.

Below are rules have been borrowed from the official paulmccartney.com website and I'd like to thank MPL's legal and IT departments:

You are responsible for the content of your own posts so remember to respect others feelings and opinions and please keep posts clean as there are many different age groups using these forums. Please do not post topics or replies that are indecent, vulgar, crude, sexually - orientated, hateful or anything considered to be offensive to other users. On the message board there are members from different countries and cultures and we would ask that you please take this into consideration when posting. Debates and discussions are always welcome and constructive criticism and opinions are valued but without the use of personal attacks, abuse or posting to provoke conflict.

Please keep all debates and discussions friendly and respectful of others opinions and keep any personal arguments off the forum. This is not a message board for airing out personal grievances on any private matters. Upon request a moderator will remove any posts directed to a user who finds the content distressing and of a personal nature.

It is impossible for the moderators to read every thread or post on the board. If you see a post, topic or receive any private messages that you are concerned about, please contact a moderator by private message or email and then ignore it. It will be looked into as soon as possible by the moderating team and dealt with where necessary.

Let the moderators do the moderating please. Posting about and to a user on the forums not only brings unwanted attention to a possible offender, but it can also serve to aggravate a situation further. Any users back seat moderating as mentioned may be warned.

Please do not post Spam on the board. Posting on the forums or in private messages purely as a means of outside advertising and posting duplicate or repetitive threads in forums is classed as spamming and will be removed. Do not use this site for sale purposes. Rapid fire posts, or block posting to boost post numbers will be treated as Spam on these forums and posts will be removed if users ignore warnings and persist in doing this.

When posting please try to keep the topics relevant to the forum you're in. Threads posted in the wrong forum may be moved, but a re-directive will be left in it's place. It makes life easier for the people who haven't got much time to scan through and read stuff that's relevant to the forum they're viewing.

Please respect Paul's privacy and that of his family. Any information deemed inaccurate or inappropriate will be removed. This includes any details in relation to any of Paul's addresses or any links to any sources which may display these details, be it by way of written information or by photographs.

The administrators and moderators of this message board have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit.

Warning Procedure
If a user repeatedly breaks forum rules then they will be issued with an official warning. A total of 3 official warnings will be given. After the third and final warning, if the user still persists in offending, then a temporary ban will follow of 7 days or whatever the site admin feels like. In that time, if a banned user tries to re-register, then the user will be permanently banned. All people temporarily banned will be welcomed back with a clean slate. If a previously banned user returns and re-offends to the point of going through the warning procedure again, then after the final warning the user will be banned permanently.

Any warnings or bans are not given lightly. Any obvious trouble or disruption caused by anyone recieving a warning will mean another immediate warning issued.

Occasionally permanent bans can be carried out immediately for extreme users with total disregard for the rules and well being of the forums. That will be at the Administrators discretion.

All Bans are carried out by an Administrator after clear details of any offences and their decision is final.

This would be a good time for some to review the Rules and Policies of this site. I've updated them slightly.
