who said it was ok for the uk pop-idol contestants to record 'happy xmas war is over' as a christmas single ? it stinks - i thought these things were under the strict copyright of yoko , even she hates it [}:)]

Does she hate the song ??? It's so lovely IMHO.
I guess they thought it would be easy bucks/pounds brought in by the Xmas spirit...

no - she hates this cover , id hate someone to spew all over one of macca's classic songs just to make christmas number 1 ! maybe macca should release 'wonderful christmastime....naked' as a challenge to the pop-idol cover [:D]
