Best guitar break - Beatle & solo

Postby Berkeleyan » Fri Aug 15, 2003 12:01 pm

George´s guitar was outstanding as a Beatle and as a solo artist.
My favorite guitar breaks of his as a Beatle and solo artist are from, respectively:
Triple tie: Savoy Truffle/Something/Real Love and another triple tie: Hari´s on Tour (L.A. Express)/Learning How to Love You/Cheer Down.

Any other top picks ?

For the Beatles period my faves would be:

Something/Drive My Car/Tomorrow Never Knows (I guess I'm talking more solos than guitar breaks)

Solo stuff my faves are:

Give Me Love/Woman Don't You Cry for Me/Life Itself/Devil's Radio

I like your pick of Learning How to Love You, it's very much a forgotten song nowadays but still holds up very well today.
