I haven't, but thanks for the link, 2 o' 3. Man, they really laid it on thick, it must be a great album.

Thank you for the info, Man [:)]

I used to enjoy Badfinger a lot but got kind of put down over their tragic desintegration. Glad that Joey has a new offering which got such a great review. I think I'll check it out eventually. Thanks again.

I´ve got Joey´s new album ("This Way Up")and I think all in all it´s a really good, solid effort by him and his mates in arms. It´s got rockers and slow numbers. The rockers are uniformly great, with a dense guitar sound. Some slow tracks are beautiful, with a portion of them emulating from George´s style (and some slide guitar). On the minus side, just two/three numbers are kind of mushy. [:)]
Regardless of that, the lyrics are good, meaningful throughout.

Another delayed-reaction reply by me. First time I've read this thread. WOW, the review really built up this album. I might have to check it out. I've always been a Badfinger fan anyway. I always thought Joey tried to emulate Macca in a bit. Maybe it's just me. Or maybe it's because (at least in his younger days), Joey's facial features reminded me of Macca's and they both played bass. Anyhoo, what an impressive review. Might have to check this out.

I'm a fan too. Yes, Joey's features are really similar to Paul's !
