"Imagine" covered by american idol???

I read in the newspaper that the guy that won American Idol's second season covered "Imagine". I'm not exactly a big AI person, but I'm kinda sorry I missed it. Did anyone see it??? What do you think about that song being covered by AI??? I think he might have killed it, LOL.

Big Rueben did a nice version--very slow, though. Geeky Clay, though, did a lovely version of Here There and Everywhere....what a freaking awesome song!!
