"World Without Love" - demo exists?

Hi everyone, this is my first post on this list. I remember reading
a few years back that a demo of this song was made by Paul for
Peter and Gordon. If there is anyone on this list who has the right
contacts, I (and probably many, many others) would love to find
out if this recording still exists in any of the archives.
Many of Paul's (and John's) other early demos have surfaced, but this still remains a big mystery!

I presume you mean Paul performing this song as a demo? As the released version by P&G is quite freely available, I believe.

Yep, definitely the demo, I've heard the P&G version many a time!
From memory the reference to a demo was in Alan Wieners (?) beatle's
recordings book, which is now very out of date.

I'd be glad to hear Paul singing this song because it's my favorite P & G song.
