No flaming here, but that definitnely took a lot of time! Impressive! Looks like you're into a lot of British pop stuff (New Order, Pet Shop Boys,etc.) I also see a lot of Bowie, which is way cool because I love Bowie too.

Sorry for bending your gender, Scrodfish... As for my list, Ram1, yeah - I lean heavily toward liking British pop. Anything with catchy melodies and complex instrumentation. I only like a handful of American artists (Billy Joel, Velvet Underground, Madonna). I threw a couple French and Swedish CDs in there for good measure. It was great when I visited UK in 1999 and heard all the bands I love like Blur and Oasis on the radio all the time.

Badfinger, also from Liverpool and Pete Ham similar music styles to Paul. Check out recently released CDs of previously unreleased material, man styles are so similar.

You're right, Mike. Badfinger is awesome. And Pete Ham was an awesome songwriter. I've been meaning to check out his unreleased songs album that was fairly recently released. People should also check out Jeff Buckley. Start with his album 'Grace.' It will blow you away.

What, no women except Madonna? What about Bonnie Raitt, Janis, Indigo Girls, Joni Mitchell? As for favorite albums, yes that was wonderfully impressive! I couldn't do that, since I go back to the very beginning of rock. So I am very, very impressed with that list!

Janis and Joni definitely get my props. Also Sheryl Crow, Lauryn Hill, Kim Gordon (from Sonic Youth), Tina Turner, and Aretha Franklin.
