Why should that surprise you? George is oftenly regarded as the best musician in the group.

Yes ! but you know, all the time i surprise myself with guitar things, and vocices, chorus etc... but violin its not easiest intrumet in the world, we all know he´s skill with citar... But he never said i play violin etc...
He play like a fuking violing teacher...
I can´t imagine what he can do if he plays that instrumet more often...

It's common knowledge that session musician Jack Fallon played the violin on Ringo's track. It wasn't George Harrison.
