Has anyone heard "Salt Water" from his 4th LP "Help Yourself"? How about "Walls" from the latest "Photogragh Smile"? I think they are beautiful tunes.

Photograph Smile is a very good album. Too bad very few people have ever even heard it. It's his best work, by far. Nice moments on Help Yourself, too.

Yeah and Salt Water seems to borrow alot from the intro of Strawberry Fields. If anyone can do it then the son of the greatest songwriter of modern times can.

Photograph Smile, great, great album!
I loved it from the moment I first heard it, not a weak track on it.
But my favourite cuts are: Day After Day, Cold, I Don't Wanna Know.

Unfortunately I don't own the album with Saltwater on it, but I heard the song a lot on radio when it was released, lovely song.

I've said it before and I'll say it again....Photograph Smile: SUPERB. AWESOME album. As Steve said, it's a shame that such a great album has gone largely unnoticed by the general public. I think Day After Day is pure classic. My favorite track on the album. Cold is great too. Cold is VERY John in my opinion. And when Julian sings the "Don't leave me cold..." part, he sounds so much like John it's almost eerie.

Did anyone see Julian play a cameo appearance in the movie with Nicolas Cage called "Leaving Las Vegas"? He played a bartender who tends to Nicolas Cage's bruised face after a bar skuffle. The movie I think came out in the late 90's.
