Harry Nilsson was first connected to the Beatles in ´68, when the fabs professed their admiration for Harry´s album - "....Aerial Ballet". Ringo´s limo when to the airport to pick up Harry, and when he got in the limo he found a pack of ciggies of the same brand he used to smoke (coincidence - Ringo´s fave brand too). In the studio he saw recording of "Revolution" (the fast one) and was one of the first persons outside the fab four to see the "Two Virgins" cover photo (not a happy occurrence for him, I suppose [:D]).
P.S. That cover is one of the ugliest lack of cover kinda cover....[:D]
