Do you guys play any one of these all-time faves of mine: I Saw Her Standing There, I Feel Fine, Ticket to Ride, Day Tripper ? [:)] These tunes are in my all-time top twenty Beatle songs.

Berkeleyan,

Our band plays Day Tripper and I Saw Her Standing There (love that bass line!). We don't go for the 'look' like most Beatles trib acts (clothes, wigs, etc) but we do have the correct guitars, bass, etc...

GREAT !

That counts - that and the love for the four lads and their music that we all share.

Good luck, good gigs (audience- and money-wise) to you guys ! [:)]

Well, I like very much their oldier songs but my preferences are a bit for the post-Sgt.Pepper´s songs...just a question of prefence.
But I LOVE Please Please Me!!

Peace.

Well, I play for the fun of it coz we don't get paid that much. We've had a regular friday night gig the past 4 years or so. The crowds do seem to love the old stuff.

PPM is one of the greatest debut LPs of all time. The idea of a debut LP is to show off what a band is all about. PPM succeeds in this way.

right, It´s the longest album on no.1 ever. Good ranking, and what a explosion when this album was released.
You must appreciate the day...
