The first two Oasis albums were great !!! I bought the third one the day it came out but was disappointed........ their music does copy bands like the Beatles but the third one copied the first two which copied the Beatles ...... so this band came full circle after 3 albums... the album was a mess and it was time to call it a day....I haven't bought anymore since and from the reviews I've read I haven't missed much....

Well---I'm on the 4th song, and it's pretty good, (Heathen Chemistry)...has a bit of the Moody Blues thing going as well as the Fab 4---1/3 of the way thru, i'd say it sounds more like their second album. I'm a sucker for Beatly hooks though, so i might be a little biased.

Oh boy--on track 8 and I'm on an absolute Rain type deal here---almost the same bass line, complete with Lennon type vocals....

Well--the album fizzled a bit in the 2nd half, but it's still pretty good...complete with a 27 minute gap IN THE MIDDLE OF track 11 (final one also)...Overall---like the USA today review said..lots of Revolver type hooks, but I still hear alot of Moody Blues type stuff in there.

Ram1--listened to it again on the way to work this AM and i may have to knock it down a notch or so. It's still far better than the last two, though.

Oasis will NEVER come anywhere near to the Beatles, and Liam Gallaghers desperate attempts at copying John Lennon are nohing short of pathetic. After all, if he sees himself (Liam) as such a wonderful person as he is forever telling anyone who will listen, why does he spend so much time pretending to be somebody else?

Man oh man does he rip Lennon off on one of the new tracks...he actually says "Classless and Clever and Free"--he changed the order, but that's blatant.
