I like anthology 3, there are songs on this that i prefer over the original versions.. Only a northen song, and You know my name.

This was the best of the anthologies. Some great alternate versions like Helt said. Some do surpass the originals. For me Cry Baby Cry has an awesome vocal by John as does Helter Skelter. I love it when Paul sings bluesy.

YES, Their version of Helter Skelter on Anthology 3 is brilliant !
Better than the official release ! (Although I adore the heavy guitars mixed well to the fore on the White Album track !!).[:)]

Speaking of which. What do you think of the U2 and Oasis version of Helt? I like them both musically but singing wise neither Bono or Noel Gallagher can macth Paul's vocals. Nowhere near as good.

I only know U2´s version of HS. It is OK, but certainly is no match for the original. It doesn´t have the punch.
