There wouldn't have been any issues with royalties. My understanding is that Macca wanted to switch the names - not remove Lennon all together.

I don't think this will flare up again. Paul recently said publicly that he regrets it, and that it's just not worth all the media fuss.

Watch out for the return of "Lennon & McCartney" on the next live album / DVD...

Also, and I've said it many times, their first album(s) (the VJ album "Introducing" and the Parlophone release, "PPM") both have the original songs credited as "Mccartney-Lennon".

Yes you're right. He only wanted it for one song and Yoko wouldn't do it. Paul would've had the voodoo dolls out for Yoko after that. [|)]
