Hi, Ram and Steve!!! How y'r doing?? Welcome back!!
I didn't hear those yet too!!!
Regarding the Oasis question, I think they're kinda "Updated" Beatles to the younger generation, I mean, the young people "need" their own Beatles, 'cos they recognize THE BEATLES were like the great group that made musical and beahviour changes of a whole generation and to the folloowing generations all over the world, and Oasis themselves are the results of those changes, and remmember that they already have 8 years of history, so they've formed their own fans generation in those years.

Peace.

Kinda like me. There are really only two bands that I will pick up their new albums "hot of the presses" on the very first day of release...Pearl Jam and Macca.

Mr Kite, cleary I think Oasis is not the 90s Fabs at all, but I questioned it 'cos many criticals mentioned such things 'bout their similarities. But I think that the new generations(I mean musically tuned people), at least the 90s generation(mainly the criticals) choose'em like the "updated" Beatles, not as unanimity of course.

Peace.

actually, i like in a way the songs "Wonderwall", "Champagne Supernova", and their live version of "I Am the Walrus". But in an interview, they mentioned that they're more popular than the Beatles (sounds familiar), and i got turned off.
