deleting posts and kicking people off

Postby shinestar » Sun Jun 23, 2002 7:26 pm

Hi, Mike -

I'm curious as to why you'd delete a post before most or any people saw it, and why you would kick someone off the forum. It appears Airdog said something offensive to do with me and that's why he was kicked off. I never saw that post, so I'm really curious as to what was said that was so offensive.

Thank you.

Airdog was not booted out. He requested removal because of extensive viruses on his computer. I don't have time to edit each person's individual post, and until I get paid to do so I will take the most appropriate action so to save my time and keep things running as smooth as possible.

If you know some rich person that wishes to donate some bucks, please have them contact me. :)

Mike, as always, thanks for everything you've done and continue to do. This forum has become a part of my daily routine, and I deeply thank you. I know sometimes webmasters have a pretty thankless job. Now regarding Airdog, thanks for clearing it up. I guess he deleted the majority of his own posts then. Still don't understand why he would do that. Virus or not. That could also explain why he never answered any of my emails. He might not even have his computer anymore. I have his mailing address, and I still might write him to see how he's doing. I know he had extensive knee problems had has had a lot of surgeries.

At least it answers the question - of course, there's nothing to stop him using cyber-cafes (like I am right now).

But boy, was that a weird mystery . . .

There was an Airdog alert that got erased by the hackers. Maybe Ram can put that back up. I never really read the first post on this thread until today. Typical. LOL

At any rate---we hope he returns one day.
