I got BITUS about a month ago. I wasn't actually going to get it, I wasn't all that interested, but I heard a small clip of ello goodbye on tv, heard some of the CD, liked it, and got the DVD. I was a little dissapointed though. It reminds me of "Tripping the live fantastic" (in terms of cutting into those soundcheck moments) but in DVD form. I was dissappointed I didn't see enough of Rusty's playing, or much of a concert experience as opposed to a film experience. It's good as a movie (much like "get back") but not as a concert. As for a concert, I still go back to an old taping of Paul live in Charlotte that I taped in 1993.

PS: I refuse to buy the BITUS in CD, as the songs are credited McCartney/Lennon===>sacrilege!!

LOL on the BITUS sacriledge thing. On the DVD, I dont like the fact that it's all not in correct running order, but it beats the crap out of Get Back---GB has like 3 different color shirts on each song and doesn't flow nerly as well. The Charlotte show is pretty good, but his voice is kind of shot and the Hamish baking vocals make me wanna hurl. This band just smokes. That being said, I'd love to see an unedited entire concert on DVD to go with the BITUS DVD.

I´ve just bought the new Queen dvd, live at Wembley. It is an example how BITUS could have and should have been. Disc one contains the entire gig with all the anouncements while disc two contains the backstage material, rehearsals for the Queen magic tour from a studio, new 2003 interviews with Brian May and Roger Taylor and the director and the tourmanager. It also has couple of songs with multicam option so you can decide wich bandmember you want to watch during that song. When I saw this dvd I realised that Paul missed a chance with BITUS (allthough it´s still great)

(I posted the same message in the NPC forum but I think it also fits in this topic)

I like the film too. Maybe playing with monkeys could be let out of the film.
