You can d/l George's IT DON'T COME EASY at Kaaza Lite. I did. I strongly suspect that George had a lot to do with the song being written. Maybe Ringo thought of a few lines and George put it together. I've also suspected that George had a lot to do with OCTOPUS'S GARDEN. You can see George & Ringo working it out on a piano in the LET IT BE film. I think technically these songs are Harrison/Starkey compositions, but I think George just let Ringo take full credit.
IT DON'T COME EASY with George on lead vocals is simply a guide vocal track recorded for Ringo. Much like John's recording of I'M THE GREATEST. The IDCE instrumental and backing vocal track is nearly identical, but you may notice at one point when George sings about God the backing vocals sing "Hare Krishna" once. Ringo's vocal left out the God reference and the "Hare Krishna" was mixed out.
While I do like George's approach, Ringo truly nailed it.
