What is difference between remastered CD of Beatles albums and previous versions in sound? Are the booklets quite good ahd what are they include (especially "Sgt.Pepper") ?

To the best of my knowledge, the only CDs in America that have been "remastered" since 1988 are Beatles 1, 1962-1966, 1967-1970, and the "Yellow Submarine" songtrack. They sound a little better to me than the original albums that were released on CD in 1988 I believe.

Sgt Pepper was "remastered" the first time in 1975. I remember this because they played it in it's entirety on an Album Oriented station in my home town. To be quite honest, I could not tell much difference. I also thought that the rest of the British "version" catalogue was remastered when released here in LP format in 1982 or so. I know the british format LPs came out then, but you never know about that word "remaster". Could have many meanings.

Are you talking about remasterd CDs or just remasterd/remixed albums in any format?

Sgt. Pepper has the best CD booklet. (Lots of cool pictures, lyrics, etc.) The rest of the booklets are pretty simple. (Other than the above-mentioned remastered CDs)

My Sgt. Pepper booklet sucks. It's just a single piece of paper with the cover on the front and the picture with every person on the front numbered on the back. No lyrics, no cool pics.
